I'm a little Busker

What a short New Year it was - only 15 days! Daddie and Mommie have been so busy with work, they hardly have time to bring me round the island to busker for money wrapped in red paper - angpow in short. This new year has left me pondering why the adults have to work so hard to earn money when all it took me was a little buskering act - gesturing gongxi gongxi- and big money rolls into my pockets?

Well anyway, I shall give Daddie and Mommie the credit for ace-ing the angpow "BILL"board this Rooster Year! Well Done, Folks!

Vroom Vroom

My wish has finally come true. Today, I took delivery of my 1st car. It is a little tikes cabriolet in the shade of "turquois blue"! I'm naming her - "My Little Starburst". Mommie promises to take me for a spin around the neighbourhood after my morning nap. Gee... i'm so excited! It'll certainly be sweet dreams for me!

Excursion Day

18 Feb, Friday - Mighty Mouth's Excursion day! We (as in Mommie, Fatty Gramps, Indogal and ME! of course) set off early in the morning for a gym workout. On arrival, i realised that it is a gym for babies only. So I benched fatty gramps and indogal while Me and Mommie joined a bunch of japanese speaking babies - clad in japanese designer wear - in gym activities. I will rate this activity a 5/10. Prefer my music lessons anytime to this! Mommie was thankful that she didn't have to pay for this session.

Noon. Had a hearty lunch with Daddie and Aunty Sharon. I like Aunty sharon, she's my trump card for all my little demeanors. With Aunty Sharon, I could do anything i wish (slurping lots of cold drinks included) without Daddie and Mommie's grumbling.

Late Noon. Met up with Ryan and Aunty Rachel to visit a garden filled with colourful flowers. There were flowers in all sorts of colours, shapes and sizes. It was truly a sight to behold! We ended the trip with a little teddy bear pinic with mash and ice-cold lemon tea.

My 1st Few Steps

Perhaps standing and walking on 2 feet is better than crawling around on all 4's. Having seen Ko Yen (the girl next door - abt 18 mths) and Kendra (read more about her in my earlier blog entry) cruising around my house steadily on their own 2 feet, I felt a little awkward to be the only one moving around on 4's.

I've decided there and then to graduate from the "Crawlers' Academy" and promote myself to toddler status. I mustered all my courage, said a little prayer, boldly toddled forward, flapped my hands for balance and managed 2 to 3 steps.

It was the daddie and mommie's proudest moment - well, at least for now.

Watch me take my 1st few steps.

What Goes Wrong, Will Go Wrong

It hasn't been a good week for me - I was plagued with injuries. First, my little pointer finger got inflammed and swelled up like an apple. Then yesterday, i fell off my stylo milo pram while i was busy inspecting the clothings that mommie and daddie were planning to buy. It hurts so much, I wailed like I've never wailed before and my tears flowed like a broken tap!

For a moment, the whole store came to a standstill as they all stared at me lying face down on the floor. I must add that it was not exactly the most graceful sight.

I'm now suffering from a bruised chin and sore gums. But looking on the bright side of things, at least my two front teeth are still there - where they are suppose to be.

A New Hobby

I've picked up a new sport. It's called roller hockey and Daddie's my coach! My style of roller hockey and daddie's style is very similar yet quite different. We both play with 4 wheels underneath our feet. The difference? Daddie's 4 wheels are in a straight line and are fixed on his boots (he calls them skates) whereas mine are all around me on my racer look-a-like walker (I call them shackles!).

Daddie thought he could impress me with his fanciful footwork and promises a pair of skates once I'm able to toddler along. I figured that it is just another ploy of his to tempt me into walking. Nay! Yours truly, is impervious to daddie's lure of temptations and is adamant not to walk for as long as I please.
