My First Cable Car Ride

Yesterday, daddie and mommie rewarded my good behaviour with a ride on the cable car! However, just as we were queuing for tickets, daddie said he has a tummyache and needs to poo poo urgently.... so in the end it was mommie, fatty gramps and indo gal who joined me in my cool cable car ride.

On the ride, I saw a big, big ship with a big, big chimney and lots of big, big lights. Mommie explained to me that it's a ship that will bring people to malaysia and beyond. Hmm... I'll have to persuade daddie and mommie to take me on a ride on that big ship one day.

I had great fun and enjoyed every moment of the ride. Unfortunately, i can't say the same for indo gal - her face was pale and she didn't move an inch throughout. I wonder why?

Here's a picture to commemorate my maiden voyage on a cable car.

The Evil Tooth Fairy

I hate the tooth fairy... she's evil! I got feverish because she has decided to make my 2 molars sprout. This is such a painful experience for me. Daddie and mommie comforted me by saying this is part and parcel of growing up.

They told me that i must welcome the big molars as new additions to my "family of teeth" (2 bunny ones and 2 small lower ones). Now, with more teeth this Mighty Mouth will literally pack a big bite!

Mayday!! Mayday!!

Help! I think daddie and mommie are going bonkers! They are obsessed with my physical and mental development. Here are some signs of their sanity tumbling downhill (like Jack and Jill)

1) They watch me with hawk eyes. Each time i pluck myself up in an attempt to stand, they'll exclaim "Joey's walking!" - (This is pure hallucination... i'm not walking, just STANDING.)

2) Whenever i mutter "Da Da Da", they'll exclaim "Joey's Talking!" - (Again, they've mistaken my senseless mumblings as some "intelligent" baby talk)

3) Oh! Did I tell you that I overheard Daddie telling Mommie... "For breakfast, I'm going to make scrambled eggs out of Humpty Dumpty. For Dinner, i shall sit on the tuffet to eat my Roasted Mother Goose!" (ARGH!!!! That's Murder!)

Me and my Ah Ma

See this lady with furball hairdo? She's my Ah Ma! Don't be surprised. When daddie showed me the picture and asked "Joey, where is Ah Mah?", it took me a while to figure that out too.

My Ah Mah pampers me like a little royalty. She'll bring me over to her house on tuesdays and wednesdays for massage and spa therapy. Well you know, Mommie and Daddie always take me on long drives and the journey often causes a strain on my poor bunny bum bums. Ah Mah says that my bum bum will sag after sitting for too long, so she gives me routine bum bum massages to help soothe my bum aches and "perk" them up a little.

Ah Mah also says that I'm crawling too much - my skin's all dry and patchy. The remedy she came up with is "Milk Bath".... oohh... you should see the tub filled with delicious fresh milk... (daddy told me not to play with food.... so i've exercised self control by not drinking my bath!)

My Ah Mah is special and I Love her!

Living Up To My Name

I've been dubbed "The Incredible Eating Machine" by Daddie and Mommie. Tonight, right before their weary eyes, I unleashed the prowess of Mighty Mouth by chewing on a *lemon and sucking **wasabi without even batting an eyelid (ok.... i admit that the latter was a little overwhelming for me, BUT it was nothing i couldn't handle).

**wasabi (noun) - it's an edible lump of green stuff which will make your hair stand on end, puff smoke from your nose and release steam through your ears. Don't try this at home without Daddie and Mommie's supervision.

*Lemon (noun & adj) - Sour oval-shaped fruit. This word can also be used to describe a white elephant or non performing investment. It is commonly used by Daddie to describe Mommie's shopping.

Babies Network

Greetings fellow earthling, Mighty Mouth is back after spending a few days in "fascinating" Malaysia. It was more a meet and greet trip than a holiday. Made 5 new friends:-

1) Kendra - She belongs to Uncle Mike and Aunt GL. I've met her a couple of times in Singapore but we've never "spoken" to each other. She's a few months older than me and walking already. For me, it is my personal agenda to refuse walking.. it's more convenient and less tiring to be carried around.

2) Edith - Another baby of Uncle Mike and Aunt GL. Poor Edith cried when we started on our journey to Malaysia and didn't stop until we returned to Singapore. I think she must be tired coz it's her 1st trip overseas. I tried to cheer her up by making funny faces but she was unconsolable.

3) Yvonne - Her daddie was my daddie's schoolmate in university. I finally met my match in the sport of furniture climbing. She could climb over the baby chair and give big hard pounds on the table too!! She told me that her daddie and mommie are giving her a little playmate... Oh, how i envy her. I'm getting bored at home with no one except indo gal to play with me.

4) Robin - He ain't no sidekick of Batman! He's Uncle SK's youngest son. Cool and suave! Uncle SK was also daddie's schoolmate.

5) Ivan - Uncle SK's eldest son. A boy of few words but very charming. He's the quiet intellect. Oooh.. I like!

The Baby Lingo

Daddie and Mommie has taken a liking to point their index finger at me whenever they are upset with me. Mommie did this again during dinner last night when i was trying to wriggle out of the uncomfortable babyseat. She wouldn't know how i feel coz there are no babychairs big enough for her.

Since she does not understand the baby lingo, I decided to articulate my feelings through action. I grabbed her finger with my pair of tiny hands, shoved it into my mighty mouth and gave it a BIG mighty bite. (oh! did i tell you that i've got 4 teeth now? 2 bunny teeth and 2 lower teeth).

Mommie stared at me and i gave her a snoot!

Daddie bellowed in laughter but.... somehow, Mommie wasn't half as amused as Daddie...

Good Time, Great Taste

Daddie and Mommie brought me to McDonalds at West Coast for breakfast today. It was really relaxing chomping down my hotcakes and sipping orange juice in such an idyllic setting. A little girl... (well, a little older than me ), came by our table and gave me a big blue balloon! Today must be my lucky day!

After breakfast, we took a stroll in the park in my stylo milo pram... Daddie exclaimed that storm clouds are coming our way and we should better get moving. Despite the damper (read: heavy rain), it was the perfect way to spend a Sunday morning.

Got to nap now. I've to prepare for music lessons in the afternoon.

Ciao!

Snippets from Hong Kong

My Field Trip to Hong Kong from 14 Dec to 19 Dec

Starting My New Year with a BANG!!!

Well, what i meant to say was Daddie's wallet went *BANG* *BANG* *BANG* on New Year's eve. Mommie suggested going to Suntec City to check out some toys. Daddie deliberated but ultimately succumbed to Mommie's "forces of nature".

*Bang* No.1 - A Maxi Cozi Carseat (Daddie reckons that Mighty Mouth will grumble less coz it's more cushy than the old carseat.)

*Bang* No.2 - A Quinny 3 Wheeler Pram (Mommie reckons that she can shop more with me in a pram than in her arms)

*Bang* No.3 - A playhouse with Swing and Slide (Mommie reckons that it will help in my physical and mental development. Daddie reckons that it's utter waste of money! BUT deep within, Daddie knows he is fighting a losing battle... so he'll rather pay up than to incur the wrath of Almighty Mighty Mouth and BIG MOMMA!

THANKS DADDIE!
