Vanilla Pod

Daddie's birthday is round the corner and i turn 21 months old today. Daddie is in a mood for celebration and decided to give us a big treat at this fancy restaurant - Vanilla Pod. Mommie, Popo and I loved the orchid + mango dessert.. but Daddie thought the food was really nothing to *wow* about. The ambience was good though... it was rather exclusive (it has got to be because it's out in the middle of Mandai, near the Zoo and far from civilization!) and we could stroll in the well manicured orchid gardens after dinner. Air was fresh, mood was good. Best of all, the place is really neat and clean... no signs of commando mosquitoes anywhere *phew*!

I love Mommy!And.. Daddy too!

Wacko Stacko

Who needs lego blocks when you can build structures from items on the supermarket shelves. Mommie and Daddie are really amused by my creations. I wanted to pile them higher but Daddie warned that it could all topple on me - "Pain Pain".

Eventful September

September is barely over but it felt like a really long month especially with Mommie and Daddie packing my weekends with countless activities.

Week 1 - My First Close Encounter With The Sharks

Mommie organised her company's Family Day at Sentosa. I was hoping to ride the Cable Car again but despite my protests, Daddie drove across the bridge instead.

It was at Sentosa that I discovered my greatest fear..... SAND! I hate the feeling of it getting into my dainty sandles and being caught between my little tootsies. I flatly refused to step onto the beach!

Evening was better, we went to the underwater world... I was truly awed by the myraid of fish swimming overhead.... my favourite marine animal has got to be the "Jelly Fish" coz it sounds so yummy! Hmmp, I shall ask Indogal to make me some jelly fish (mommie prefers to call it agar agar) for dessert someday.

Week 2 - Bye Bye Merp, Till We Meet Again

Merp is going home. I wonder if i will see her again. Gong Gong promised to bring her back in a couple of years time. I hope Gong Gong will keep to his promise coz i really enjoy playing with Merp (I especially like poking on the mole under her right eye). Meanwhile, it's bye bye Merp, i will be missing you lots!

Hmm. Ah Mah hasn't introduced me to her new maid. She better be nice to me or i'll bite!

Week 3 - Lantern Safari with Sponge Bob

The highly anticipated Lantern show was a flop and disappointment. It was nothing like the one i went to last year where i got to see lots of cartoon charaters. What greeted me at this year's show was all blood and gore! I saw animals tearing each other apart... i am so traumatized.

The only highlight for the evening was a spongebob balloon which mommie bought to pacify and cheer me up.

Another Milestone for Mighty Mouth

After weeks of trying, I've finally succeeded in putting on a t-shirt all by my own. Yes! I did it without adult intervention or help. Ok, Ok. perhaps i didn't wear it the right side round but it's nevertheless a big achievement for a little girl of 20 months.

I wonder why mommie didn't seem too happy though... Could it be because i've stretched the colar so big, i could wear the t-shirt from my bottom up?

Brownie Points for Daddie and Mommie

I was really upset with Daddie and Mommie for leaving me at home with Indogal last evening. Saturdays are suppose to be spent as a family but they are always going to places where little ones like me are not welcomed! For that, I sulked the whole evening and refused to go to bed until they've come home.

When they finally came home, I was greeted with a big surprise! They had brought home a big bunch of balloons! I love balloons... and this is the biggest bunch of balloons i've ever received!!!

I was so elated i could hardly fall asleep, but when i finally did, I had only beautiful balloons in my dreams :)

Whoppi! I can fly! My big bunch of balloons.
